Introduction
Tickers are scrolling text bars that occupy the bottom of a
screen. Most often seen on television news programming, you can use
tickers in CampaignManager to present any information you wish, as
well as the time and date.
Creating a new ticker
Click the ticker button in the toolbar or Press Ctrl+T or open
the File / New and then select Ticker
Getting Data into your ticker
By using freely available RSS feeds, CampaignManager can deliver
news and content that will update itself automatically without your
needing to republish the campaign. You can also create RSS feeds
with the RSS generator tool. You can combine remote news
feeds with your own content by adding more than one RSS feed to the
ticker.
To have your ticker driven by a live RSS feed that comes from an
internet source, type or paste the address of the file into the
"RSS URL" text box and click the load button.
It is recommended that you provide static text in addition to
any live RSS feeds. Should the RSS feed become unavailable,
CampaignManager will automatically default to the static text you
have provided.
Creating your own RSS feed
To create your own RSS feed open the Tools menu / RSS Generator
or select the RSS Generator button from the properties screen
above 
This window allows you to create a RSS format that can then be
saved and re-generated with ease. The feed will be saved as a RSS
Generator Document (RGD). This can then be accessed in the future
to save time.
Changing the look and feel of your ticker
To change how your ticker appears, refer to the Ticker Format
area of the Ticker dialog. Using the buttons provided you can
change appearance of both the ticker and the clock.
Changing Speed
There are 2 aspects that can be controlled. Scroll Speed decides
how fast the bottom line will scroll and Change Speed decides how
fast the news content changes. Adjust these two controls to achieve
desired results.
