Ryarc has announced their media communications software suite has been selected by Torch Media to power one of the largest liquor retail chains in Australia, Beer Wine and Spirits (BWS). CampaignManager digital signage software is being used across 800 BWS stores to publish BWS promotional content, advertising of third party brands and entertainment based content using VSAT multicast network.
CampaignManager allows Torch to easily manage the scheduled playlists which are distributed nationally or targeted to a specific set of stores using CampaignManager’s categorization engine. Torch also uses CampaignManager to publish dynamic content including up-to-the-minute news, sport, and weather. Ryarc’s Dappler, an in-store radio software platform, is also being used by Torch to deliver a customized BWS radio station called “BWS FM” across the store network. Dappler enables Torch to tailor the content BWS customers hear in store complementing the visual content on the digital screens. Control over BWS FM also ensures no competitor ads are heard across the radio and gives a more consistent message across all 800 stores. Dappler’s sophisticated and yet easy to use content programming engine effortlessly transforms thousands of music files into a coherent listening experience, complete with radio jingles, ad breaks and continuity in music style and tempo.
